Do It Yourself Online Public Relations For Startups

MWI’s CEO Joshua Steimle will be teaching a course on do it yourself online public relations for startups at General Assembly on March 25th, 2014. Steimle is a contributing writer for Forbes, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Hong Kong Business, and other business publications and will share knowledge gained from his experiences pitching stories to the press as well as being pitched. Topics will include the right and wrong way to pitch a story to the media, how to promote yourself as a knowledge expert, how to help yourself by helping the press, and resources that can help you get in front of journalists. Although this may all sound like traditional public relations, Steimle will focus on how to do PR online with an eye toward not only getting coverage about your business, but building your SEO results at the same time.

Although the course is geared toward entrepreneurs and startups, any business or executive that is interested in gaining access to the media should attend. Steimle will share actionable tips with you that will make an instant improvement in your marketing efforts. Check out the link above for more information.
