American Fork and Draper, UT – MWI, a full-service agency specializing in brand management and Web development, was awarded the contract for the design and development of the new Bank of American Fork Web site.
Headquartered in American Fork, UT, the Bank of American Fork went through a rigorous evaluation process when it invited local firms to bid on the Web site project. After a process of several months, the Bank of American Fork selected MWI to provide the bank with a new online presence, as well as the content management system to maintain the new Web site.
“In our evaluation process, we considered a myriad of attributes in each candidate firm. Each firm was very impressive. When it came down to it, we went with MWI for a few reasons,” said Adam Michaelson, lead project manager for the Bank of American Fork. “From the case studies they presented and their references, it was evident that MWI knew how to manage a project from concept to delivery.
“We also felt MWI’s talent was evident in their portfolio. Each example was striking in style and well-organized in structure. More than anything, we were impressed with their content management system. It was head and shoulders above anything else we saw,” Michaelson stated.
MWI’s content management system is custom developed for each client. Through the content management system, Web site administrators can make real-time changes to the Web site content, images or organization without requiring knowledge of programming languages or HTML.
“We are very proud to have been awarded the contract with the Bank of American Fork,” said Joshua Steimle, chief executive officer and founder of MWI. “The Bank of American Fork put us through the toughest evaluation process we’ve had to date, and it is gratifying to hear such high praise for our content management system. We have put years into developing it as our keystone product, and we’re excited to see what we can make it do for the Bank of American Fork.”
Michaelson identified the main objectives for the new site to be the development of a content management system from the ground up, the creation of a new approach to customer service and interaction, and the construction of an aesthetically pleasing environment with fluid navigation.
The new Web site is slated to be live by the end of March 2006. The Bank of American Fork plans to continue adding site components throughout 2006. The site will be available at the Bank of American Fork’s current Web address, www.bankaf.com.
