Simply Self Storage Website Launch

Posted by: Joshua Steimle on November 25, 2009 5 comments

We just launched a new website for Simply Self Storage, a national self storage company with 160+ locations. The newly redesigned website is integrated with Centershift’s self storage facility management software so that Simply Self Storage’s customers can see available units, make reservations, pay their bills, and sign up for monthly auto-payment of their fees. The site also includes a Flash size-selector that helps customers figure out what size storage unit they need, zip code search, online employment application, and many other features behind the scenes that are too technical and numerous to go into.

Now begins the fun part, driving traffic to the site via SEO and a PPC campaign.

New Website Design for Online Triathlon Store

Posted by: Joshua Steimle on November 19, 2009 2 comments

We just launched a new website design for an online triathlon store, PowerTri.com, and are proceeding to ramp up their SEO and PPC efforts for the holiday season as some of the kinks with the ecommerce backend get worked out. PowerTri was already using Network Solutions’ NSCommerce backend for ecommerce when they hired us, so we created a new skin for the site and also assisted in an upgrade from the 4.0 to the 7.0 version of the software.

PowerTri actually has a retail location as well, in case you’re a triathlete based in Utah. Their store is located in Lehi, Utah at 400 S 1000 E, Suite F Lehi, Utah 84043.

Next, we’ll be working on getting a blog up and running, doing ongoing refinements to the site, and of course keeping up with PPC and search engine optimization.

Red Rock Orthodontics – New Client

Dr. Adam Lee is the man, the orthodontist, behind Red Rock Orthodontics, which has offices in Spanish Fork and Payson, Utah. Graduating at the top of his undergraduate and graduate classes, Dr. Lee has built a successful practice, but being successful sometimes means you don’t take the time to look after your marketing efforts. But all in good time, Dr. Lee hired MWI to design a new website. We’re currently working on it and it’ll be up shortly.

Neovest – New Web Design Client

“Neovest, Inc. develops and markets intelligent, proactive electronic execution technology that maximizes the performance of buy-side, sell-side, and other investment professionals.”

It’s a good thing Neovest isn’t selling their services to normal joes like you and me or I’d say they have a communication problem. Luckily, Neovest is the type of company that operates under-the-radar when it comes to most people, but in the field of investment transactions they’re well known and growing, and they recently outgrew their website and engaged MWI to provide web design services and create a new website. We’re currently finishing up the various screens for them and the new website will be launched within the next month or so once all the content gets plugged in.

We just launched a new website for Highland Cove, a senior assisted living center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The site is still being polished up, but it was close enough to launch. We’re also providing ongoing SEO services for Highland Cove, and when I turn 40 in a few years I think I might move myself over there.

Website Design for Arbiter Sports

Posted by: Joshua Steimle on August 19, 2009 no comments

Ever wonder who hires referees for NCAA games and makes sure they’re where they’re supposed to be, and then makes sure they get paid and all that? Probably not, because Arbiter Sports does such a good job of managing it all. And they recently launched a new website we designed. This was one of those situations where the client already had a very good idea of what they wanted, but was having trouble finding someone to implement it. They provided us with detailed Excel spreadsheets showing the layout they wanted, and we created a nice design to present the information they wanted. In all, about 15 different types of page layouts were created and then provided to the client in PSD format so their internal team of developers could code up the pages and implement the site.

PowerTri.com. Aiming to become the dominant online source for triathlon products, PowerTri.com has engaged MWI to redesign their site, integrate it with an ecommerce solution, and provide ongoing SEO/SEM services. As an avid triathlete planning on doing my first Ironman next year, I’m excited about this one.

Book for Senior Caregivers

Posted by: Joshua Steimle on June 9, 2009 one comment

One of our clients is an assisted living facility here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our primary contact, Virginia Echevarria, has written a book on caregiving called Caregivers and Would-Be Caregivers. You can download the book for free in PDF format or by a hard copy for $10.95 through her website. I’ve only read portions of it myself, but much of it appears to be a collection of stories about experiences various caregivers have had and some of the difficult choices they’ve had to make about caring for their loved ones. If you’re a caregiver yourself or likely to become one soon, or if you know someone in those circumstances, check out the book and pass it along. It’s pretty short, so there’s not a lot in the way of tough reading.

Solutions for Self Storage, Venture Capital, and Law Firms

Posted by: Joshua Steimle on April 23, 2009 no comments

Since 1999 we’ve done a lot of web development and online marketing work for a lot of different clients, and we’ve become more experienced in certain industries than others, namely; self storage, venture capital, and law firms. While we can certainly design a great site or provide SEO for any type of company (although there are some types of companies we won’t do work for…), we have some special expertise when it comes to these three industries. We just launched a website for Price Self Storage in San Diego which is a good example. There’s not much we haven’t done for this company. We reworked their brand just slightly, designed a new website, built a content management system, integrated the site with Centershift’s self-storage management software, and we’re providing ongoing PPC management and SEO services. Oh, and we designed and built an awesome Flash piece that allows users to choose the right size storage unit.

When it comes to venture capital, we’ve worked with almost every venture capital firm in Utah, and some outside the state as well. Plus I’ve had plenty of dealings as an entrepreneur with VC firms and angel investors and when I was a college student at BYU I won the business plan competition there, so I know a bit about the industry.

In the legal industry we’ve worked with several law firms providing everything from website design to SEO to content management. We’ve created micro-sites to bring in leads for a specific class-action lawsuit, and we’ve done overall marketing for firms like Strong & Hanni and Siegfried & Jensen.

Due to our experience in these three areas, we’ve created three new pages on our site to promote our experience and show off our work in those industries.

Once again, this doesn’t mean we’re only focusing on these industries and don’t want clients from other industries, it just means we have something additional we can offer these niches beyond the normal and phenomenal services we provide everyone else.
